We just want to say a huge thank to all the parents who came along to both the Market Day last Wednesday and to the Cultural Day on Friday. Without your support we would not be able to run them so successfully. And a special thanks to all the families that took it upon themselves to cook for our cuisine section. The food went down really well and every last bit was eaten. It was lovely to see parents enjoying the show and seeing their daughters perform on stage.
The Parents Association also came out in force on both days and are still busy adding prizes to the Christmas Raffle. To make it really worht their while we need to sell more tickets. Once again they are on sale until the end of the week in school. Please support this worthy event and you have a very good chance of winning a prize. Thanks again to all of our sponsors.
The Mercy Christmas Food Appeal is still running but with a disappointing response so far. Can we turn this around? Just one item from each student would create nearly 400 items . Unfortunately we only have approx 30 items so far. So please dig deep this Christmas and lets turn this around! 300 items would help 30 families in our community this Christmas.
We ran a Christmas Wreath Making Workshop today with Olivia and it was enjoyed by all the parents, who went home with one or even two hand crafted wreaths each. The wreaths were made with natural materials and items that people brought in from home. Yuo can see the results of their efforts in the pictures above.
