Well done to three of our TY students, Pixie, Pandeena and Ellie Rose, who represented Portugal in the Model EU Council Debate 2025. The event was held in Dublin Castle – the same room where the real EU Council will be from July to December of this year!
Stepping in as a reserve team with just one week notice, the team did an amazing job debating EU laws on the theme of “Protecting young people online in the EU”. They also had the opportunity to hear EU leaders speak, meet Henrique Sousa de Azevedo Deputy Head of Mission Embassy of Portugal and meet two Dublin MEPs, Lynn Boylan and Aodhán Ó Ríordáin.
