Good Evening All,
As the season slides towards the darker evenings, it is great to look forward to the midterm break. It has been along term but very interesting. The school and teachers have laid down important foundations to build upon over the coming months. The ANSEO program was launched in late September to remind families that improved attendance needs to be a priority for us all.
Thanks to all the participants in Fiona Clarke’s workshop last Wednesday. It was a lovely relaxing session and Fiona went on to work with teacher and student groups later on that day.
The Parents Club is between 11am and 1pm tomorrow. We will be doing some crafts and having the chats with a coffee to boot. Text me at 08618057703 if you would like to join in.

Care Experienced Expert Panel (CEEP)
In another opportunity to support the parent voice, five new members are being sought to join the Care Experienced Expert Panel (CEEP). The panel is a group of adults with lived experience of care who are helping shape the future of Ireland’s care system. This panel is part of the Care Experiences Programme, led by the Department of Children, Disability & Equality in collaboration with Tusla. If you are aware of any parent or guardian that has lived in care, whether foster care, residential care, relative care, or special care and would like to be part of a supportive group working to make a difference, please inform them of this opportunity. Panel members will receive a voucher for their time and participation, including for attending meetings, which take place every 6–8 weeks (mostly in person, with some online options). The Expression of Interest Form is attached. Completed forms should be sent to careexperiences@dcde.gov.ie by Friday, 31st October 2025.
