Tuesday Tips for Parents/Guardians and Grandparents

Good Evening All.

I want to invite our parents/guardians or relatives to our free series of classes They will begin tomorrow with a mindfulness session in room 34. If you would like to experience some tranquilty I am hoping that this session will like a safe port in a storm. There is no need to book, just come along!

On Wednesday 27th of January 

Mr Hyland will be running a class on  how to use a version photoshop– so he will be teaching you how to change details in photographs, enhance them, create graphics etc. The class will be a fun exploration of the software. At the same time I will be run a workshop on painting with acrylics, for anyone who would like to dabble with paint and learn to work with colours. Click here to sign up

Wed 3rd of Feb

Mapwork is an essential part of Geography from 1st to 6th Year. Would you like to help your daughter with sketch maps, ordnance survey and aerial photograph homework in Geography? This parents class would focus on map reading, grid references and how to draw a sketch map. No previous experience of maps is required. Parents Network Meeting

The PNM will be meeting as usual on the last Wednesday of the month which falls on the 28th of January.

The National Parents Council

The NPC  invite parents/guardians  to our Anti-Bullying Training for Parents. This virtual training session is designed to equip parents with practical advice and insights on supporting children with issues related to bullying and the Anti-Bullying Procedures for Schools.Session Highlights:

During this session, you’ll learn effective ways to support your child, understand the school’s role in addressing bullying and build confidence in navigating these challenging situations.Two different sessions will be running during the week of the 26th of January. One for Primary School Parents, and one for Post-Primary School Parents.

Primary Session dates and Times:

 

Monday 26th – Thursday 29th: 10am and 7.30pm

Friday 30th January: 10am
