Congratulations to Our Eco Committee

We are incredibly proud of the wonderful students on our Eco Committee — Sarah Keegan, Alexandra Burke-Hosey, Grace Collier, and all their fellow members — whose passion for the environment and commitment to positive change has been making waves far beyond our school walls! The girls were recently featured in the Dublin Inquirer and interviewed by Near FM radio station, shining a spotlight on the fantastic sustainability work happening right here in our school. From transforming our recycling culture, to running the Re-turn scheme, to hosting workshops, raffles, and upcycling events — their dedication is truly inspiring.

As Grace so beautifully put it, “If we don’t care, no one will.” These young women are living proof that small changes can make a big difference.

A heartfelt thank you also to Ms. Hilary Taylor and all the teachers who support and guide our Eco Committee. Your encouragement and commitment to student-led initiatives make this kind of meaningful, lasting impact possible.

You are all making us incredibly proud — and making the world a little bit better in the process.#OurLadyOfMercyCollege #EcoCommittee #ClimateAction #Sustainability #ProudOfOurStudents
