Educational school tours form an integral part of school life at Our Lady of Mercy College. Students take part in a number of educational school tours throughout their years here.
School tours may include:
- TY trips to various educational sites
- Geography field trip, Howth
- Religion trips to Mercy Centre and World Religion Centres in Dublin.
- History trips to Glasnevin Cemetery Museum and 1916 Rising Museum G.P.O.
- Trips to musicals and concerts, e.g.Bord Gáis Energy Theatre
- Trips to Tanagh Adventure Centre
- Sporting tours to Croke Park
- Trips to debating competitions
- Art tours to exhibitions and museums
- English trips to theatres and cinemas
- Irish trips to theatres
- Science trips to BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition
- Business trips to Irish companies and Abroad Leaders programme in London.
- P. E. trips to DCU gym and facilities.
School Tours may also be of an international nature including:
- 4th and 5th tours (eg Lake Garda & Venice, London, Paris, Berlin, Madrid Barcelona, Krakow)
- Volunteering in Lourdes with the Carmelite Order
- 4th Year Career Ready Programme in London
