Good evening all. We are now into our last term of the school year and what a lovely start weather wise anyway. We ran our first horticulture workshop today. Our teacher Carmel was a font of knowledge about all the wild plants growing around and we had a nice time dreaming up planting projects for over the coming weeks. The morning was a great success and I would invite on other potential gardeners to next weeks session. Tuesdays 10am-12!
Sadly our Yoga class has finished for the year and I would like to thank all of those who participated in it.

SASSY is a HSE community based service providing support to young people under18 years of age, resident in Dublin North City and County for whom drug use or alcohol use is having a significant negative impact on their daily lives. We provide 1 to 1 counselling, psychiatric assessment and treatment. Our model of care is client-centred.A counsellor is appointed to work with a young person, conducts a comprehensive assessment, develops a care plan in collaboration with the young person, offers evidence based one-to-one interventions such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing and ACRA. We provide psycho-education.We encourage abstinence or reduced use of drugs and alcohol. We promote harm reduction by helping a young person to lower their risk profile. We support re-engagementwith education, family and pro-socialactivities. Circle of Security Parenting Program (Cosp) are starting a program for parents of 6-16 year old. There is a forum tonight but it is not too late to get in touch with them. Please read on for further information.
