At our school, our team of prefects plays a crucial role in creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students. Led by Head Girl Megan O’Loughlin and Deputy Head Girl Lojain Elmaghrum, these dedicated students take on leadership responsibilities that help shape school life, making it a welcoming and vibrant place for everyone.
The prefects organise and support a wide range of events throughout the year, including Wellbeing Week, Maths Week, Culture & Friendship Week, and our much-loved Christmas celebrations, to name but a few. They work closely with teachers and students to promote school spirit, encourage participation, and ensure that every event runs smoothly.
Beyond event planning, our prefects serve as mentors and role models, particularly for our younger students. They act as a big sister figure to their junior counterparts, offering guidance, encouragement, and a friendly face for those who may need support. Whether it’s helping first-year students settle in, promoting mental health awareness, or assisting exam-year students as they prepare for their mocks, our prefects are always ready to lend a hand.
Their hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm make a real difference in our school community. We are incredibly proud of their commitment to leadership and service, and we thank them for all they do to make our school a better place!
