Safer Internet Day 2024 takes place on Tuesday 7th of February. As a school community we are going to challenge the students to review their online habits. This week could be an opportunity for you as a parent to review with your child their online habits.
Throughout the week we will have different activities in the school. There will be a poster competition, daily tips and challenges.
We would like to take this opportunity to bring the following resources for parents to your attention. These resources are aimed at helping you to understand the online world in which your children are living. They also include tips and ideas of how to approach bringing in limits or introducing security measures on your child’s phone.
Each day in school we will give the students tips on safer internet use and set them a challenge. We will also share these daily with you. If you would like to prepare for the week ahead I have enclosed the challenges for the week in pdf form along with links to two websites, where you will find helpful tips, ideas and information to keep your daughter safe online.
