Seasonal Tips for Parents , Guardians and Grandparents.
December 19, 2024
A big thank you to all the families that contributed to the Mercy Christmas Food Appeal 2024. It was a great success after a slow start and you will be happy to know that every last bit of it has been received gratefully by families in our community. Thanks to Ms. Grey and Mr. Jenkins and all the students in Ty and 5th year who helped in the organisation of food collection and sorting. In the photo above you can see the TYs with just some of the food collected.
We would also like to offer congratulations to the Parents Association for organising the Mega Mercy Christmas Raffle 2024. They worked hard to get sponsors and then to promote and sell tickets. They raised over 500e, which will be put to good use in school here. A big thanks to Katrina, Anne, Trish and Edel for all their work on this. And a big congratulations for all the money raised by Ms Vaughan and the choirs this Christmas in the Northside Shopping Centre. Again thanks to the Parents Association for their input here.

.Raising children can be immensely rewarding, but it often comes with its own set of challenges. Without a support system, it can feel isolating and overwhelming. T support group is designed to address these feelings by allowing participants to discuss their challenges, seek advice, and offer encouragement to one another.
Facilitated by a fully qualified and accredited therapist, the group will cover a wide range of topics, including parenting strategies, stress management, and navigating specific challenges related to neurodiversity and mental health issues.
