We are delighted to announce that our talented student Silke Semmler Marin has been awarded a Special Merit Award in Category C of the prestigious 71st Texaco Children’s Art Competition with her remarkable entry entitled “Memories”.
This outstanding achievement places Silke among the most talented young artists in the country, and we could not be more proud of her accomplishment. The judging panel recognised what we already know – that Silke possesses exceptional artistic talent and creative vision.
Silke will be attending the awards ceremony at the beautiful Druids Glen Hotel & Golf Resort in Newtownmountkennedy, Co. Wicklow on Wednesday afternoon, 28th May 2025, where she will be formally recognized for her achievement.
We also extend our congratulations to Silke’s dedicated art teacher, Ms. Emily Keogh whose guidance and mentorship have helped nurture Silke’s natural abilities. The hard work and dedication to developing her artistic skills are clearly evident in this breathtaking piece of artwork.
Silke’s success represents the creativity, talent, and perseverance that we strive to foster in all our students. Her achievement inspires us all and brings great pride to our school community.
