Parents had a lovely class today with Carmel our eco crafts and gardening expert. They are making cider vineagar with freshly picked apples and hoping to explore the world of herbal tinctures next week. Please come along if any of this interests you, we are happy to take latecomers. We will also be running a harvest wreath making workshop during the last week of term before the Oct midterm. So anyone can join in (parents/guardians/grandparents) We would like to know who will be coming along so that we can gather the materials necessary to do a good job so please include your name on the google doc provided here if you want to participate. form
Yoga Class is on as usual tomorrow morning, (9.30am-10.30am)! It is proving a very enjoyable way to begin your Wednesday and I warmly invite newcomers this week too!
Maths week is coming up next week. Following our coffee and maths social last Thursday our maths department asks that if parents have any questions or doubts about their maths knowledge then thay can submit a question/s on the form provided. They will be happy to post videos of maths techniques to any parent/guardian who asks. In this way we can build up a library of resources to aid students and parents alike. So please add any questions to the sheet or email me at hscl@mercybeaumont.com maths forum
Please don’t forget to choose your two parents representatives for the school’s Board of Managment BOM. The principal posted a google doc on the school app yesterday so that you can choose your representative. I would encourage all the parents and guardians to vote as it will be you who is represented. And of course we want to encourage all our new parents to the school to cast their ballots too.
