Tuesday Tips for Parents/Guardians and Grandparents

Good evening all,I hope you are able to enjoy the lovely weather today. 

Just a few notices today. Our Mercy Beaumont’s  90s Mega Mixture did their first Matinee performance today infront of our junior students and a very special group of pupils from Scoil Ide the  Fifth Class, a big thank you to their teachers and SNA  for bringing them along. the TY minstrels really surpassed themselves today and we all really enjoyed it. Best of luck to the crew on Thursday evening, 7.30pm when they will be playing before you their families. Please give good time to get to your seat on the night  and there will be soft drinks and sweets available from our shop. Raffle tickets are on sale too. 

Evelyn OConnelll will be giving a talk in the school library at 11am, Tue 20th of May on the pressures students feel over exams. evenlyn is a fully qualified psychotherapist and she has plenty of insights and tip to offer on the subject. the talk is free and open to all of our parent/ guardians and grandparents. Looking forward to seeing you there. 

Triple P, talk tomorrow 

I am just circulating information on upcoming Triple P Discussion Group – Hassle Free Shopping which is taking place 10:30 – 12:30 Wednesday 14th May in  The  National College of Ireland Spencer Dock (Beside Tesco. Parents can register by phone or texting Whats app 086 4666456. The triple P – Positive Parent Program , is an internationally recognised program which offers training to parents to help them build stronger, healthier relationships with their children. If you feel as a parent  that you could do with help and advice then this could be for you. 

 This is a 2 x hour workshop & each parent will receive a workbook
