Good evening all! The end is in sight, TY and Sixth Year Grads happening on Wednesday and Thursday respectively. The house exams are next week. We had a very interesting talk with Psychotherapist Evelyn OConnell today in the library on supporting your student through their exams. Following it we all felt a quiet sense of purpose at the calm approach that Evelyn advocates . Among her recommendations she advises to prioritise wellbeing and create a support environment. Give your student space to do their study , don’t fuss over them too much. Reassure them that it is okay and normal to feel nervous and anxious. For the rest of the tips I have uploaded her notes and please find them below.
A BIG thanks to the fabulous hard working parents who have taken it upon themselves to help weed and tidy up the school grounds all in the spirit of good will and community. You know who you are. Looking forward to seeing you Friday morning and anybody else who would care to help out!
