Good evening and welcome back to a new school term! A big hello to famillies of our new students and a fond farewell to our sixth year parents and students. It is fair to say that the years slip by very quickly especially in the education sector and before you know it young students are moving on to the next chapter of their lives. As the saying goes, seize the day!
Just a few announcements as we gently edge back into the school year.
School uniforms
We are looking for any school uniforms in good condition that can be passed on to a deserving home . It your daughter has grown out of the uniform , jacket or pe costume please send it in to me.
Parents Network
We are having a Parents Network (formerly association)Meeting and AGM on Wednesday 17th at 7pm . It would be great to see the first year parents especially and any other interested parents come along who have not done so far yet. The Parents Network is integral to our school and we appreciate the support that you can bring to the school. We will be creating a calender of meetings for the year and so that you can plan when you come.
Anxious Teens
Following the Parents Network AGM at 7.30pm 17th of September Psychologist Monica Rowe will be giving a free talk on supporting your teen through the pschycological challenges that face them on a daily basis. This is a must for anyone looking for tips and a deeper understanding of their child. This talk will be useful for all parents of students from first to sixth year.
Community Education
There are lots going on in our communities and many events are free of charge. Here are a few things the libraries are offering in the month of September
