Good evening all.
The parents craft group that met on Tuesday morning in the school library took a trip to the Hugh Lane Gallery in Parnell Square on April 9th, to look at the beautiful stain glass on display by the renowned Dublin artist Harry Clarke who grew up and lived at 33 North Frederick St. We were given a guided tour by the lovely Iseult and retired afterwards to the gallery café for coffee and chat.
So our stain glass class run by the wonderful Olivia ended and due to popular demand she will be starting a new course , free of charge to our parents/guardians and Grandparents. It will start on Tuesday 23/04/24 at the earlier time of 9am until 11.30am. Oliva will be working with the art of loom beading to create woven jewellery designs- bracelets, bangles, pendants and watch straps. If you have time and are interested in honing your craft skills or just trying something new , please sign on the link provided here and I will include you in our WhatsApp craft group.
